The Cheesecake Shop

I purchased a half a cheese cake today for afternoon tea. It was incredibly small and appeared to be old and dry. The item tasted sour and as a result the cake was thrown in the bin.... and we just had tea.The price was $15.95 for a half portion, which is very expensive for a tiny portion of old, suspect tasting cheese cake.Its always nice to support local business but unfortunately this was not a good purchase.

I picked up my husbands 60th birthday cake on Sunday the 4th twas truly yummy looked amazing great jobAlso the lemon meringue packed a great lemony punch and the fruit flan was delicious so Thankyou for a great job certainly worth the money

Very pricey place. Only go there for special occasions. The girl who served us was helpful but that's about as good as it gets. We payed $37.95 for their recommended black forest cheesecake.

The staff have no communication skills at all. 16 year old girls who don’t acknowledge you when you walk in, or apologise when they inconvenience you. I had a rather frustrating time this morning as i went in to pick up a Father’s Day cake, only to see 12 other people get served before my cake was ready due to the chocolate button being made fresh and taking 20 minutes. (You’d think it being Father’s Day there would be plenty premade no?) No warning that it would take a little while. No apology. Just “it’s coming”. Then as another lady orders one, I mention to the staff “you should let your customers know it’s gonna take a while to make the button” and yet still nothing, just empty headed stares. Very disappointing and I hate to feel like I’m being a Karen just for asking for some basic customer service but here we are

Very disappointing service yesterday! Firstly called in and asked for a price of a birthday cake, on ordering cake a week later was charged an extra $30 more and told the person who gave you the first price must have been wrong! Continued to order said cake for a 9am collection…arrived at 11am and told cake still not decorated and would be a further 20mins. Had to leave and return 40mins later due to preparing for a surprise party and ended up having to take the cake with the surprise guest. All I got was “we are sorry enjoy the rest of your day!” Staff are young and working hard but need a senior to be with them to assist as clearly they are out of their depth. On a positive note the cake looked amazing which helped soften the blow of an extremely stressful morning which was not necessary if people had done their job in a timely manner.

Excellent Service and Great Taste. The new management is very professional. Highly recommend. Enjoy the great taste and service.

Went in and picked a cake to be boxed up - only to realise id picked the wrong one (before i left the shop) The lovely English lady was happy to re-pack the cake i wanted and also recommended and Happy birthday chocolate tile to site on top. My son was very happy with his birthday cake!
